Social Media Manager – EBEC Final 2014
What does EBEC mean to you?
Connecting young people from Europe in a creative way, fostering international collaboration, and at the same time building a great asset for the future careers.
When you look back at event, what are you most proud of?
EBEC Final looked like something that could easily be compared with top level international events, from the point of view of participants, sponsors, engaged local environment, media coverage… The fact that a representative of a major European company who took part at the event could not believe that the whole thing is run by student volunteers speaks volumes about the level of the events BEST can pull off. This enthusiasm and dedication of its members is a defining point of BEST, and because of this I am sure that the organization will continue achieving big things.
How did organizing EBEC Final helped your personal development?
I had an opportunity for defining social media presence of a large international organization, from strategy to execution and monitoring. Looking back, I am proud to see that four years ago, we were utilizing cutting edge techniques, from video, to livestreamings and innovative storytelling… everything you could see in modern social media campaigns today. Such experience proved useful for my future career and might even helped me of landing some nice jobs later 🙂
What is the most important thing you learned during the organization of EBEC Final?
Team work, collaboration, drive and a good spirit trumps big resources every day. Big time.
